Sweetwater Strings
All of our musicians have at least five years of professional experience.

Owner and Violinist

Eily has been playing the violin since the age of 9, and received a degree in both Music Performance and Theatre Arts. She was chosen as one of the top violinists to play for Isaac Stern in celebration of his eightieth birthday. She performed for several years in orchestra and chamber ensembles, and taught violin at a private academy for gifted children. Specializing in Irish fiddle and folk music, she has a particular interest in cultural music and rich history of strings throughout the history of performance.

Eily is also a music teacher at a private school in Scottsdale, where she teaches general music to Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School students, and conducts the school orchestra.

Her goal is to create a modern and sophisticated string ensemble that embraces all styles of music; one that relishes the tradition and beauty of classic approaches, but incorporates the essence of our contemporary tastes.
